Top 10 Comedy Anime.

Comedy is a genre that is often underappreciated in the anime world. It is often overshadowed by the more popular genres such as shounen, shoujo, and mecha. However, there are a number of great comedy anime that are definitely worth watching. Here are my top 10:
10. Ouran High School Host Club
Ouran High School Host Club is a show that follows the antics of a group of rich students who run a host club for girls at their school. The main character, Haruhi, is a poor girl who accidentally breaks an expensive vase and is forced to work at the club to pay off her debt. Hilarity ensues as she tries to fit in with the rich kids and learn the ropes of being a host.
9. Gintama
Gintama is a hilarious show set in an alternate universe where samurai are the dominant force. The main character, Gintoki, is a lazy swordsman who just wants to relax and do nothing. However, he always seems to get roped into various wacky adventures with his friends. The are various over-the-top situations that Gintoki and his friends find themselves in, as well as the characters' reactions to them.
8. Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO)
GTO is a classic comedy anime that tells the story of Onizuka, an ex-biker gang member who decides to become a teacher. Onizuka is completely unprepared for the job and often resorts to unconventional (and illegal) methods to get his students to behave. Despite this, he is actually a great teacher who cares deeply for his students. You will laugh at Onizuka's outrageous antics and the various situations he gets himself into.
7. Azumanga Daioh
Azumanga Daioh is a slice-of-life comedy that follows the everyday lives of a group of high school girls. The girls are all unique characters with their own quirks and personality traits. The comedy in this show comes from the girls' interactions with each other and the various situations they find themselves in, whether it's getting lost on a class trip or trying out for the school play.
6. Lucky Star
Lucky Star is also a comedy of a group of high school girls. However, this show takes a more light-hearted approach to its material than Azumanga Daioh. The girls in Lucky Star are more prone to goofing off and getting into silly situations; trying to study for exams or going on a shopping trip, there's always something funny going on.
5. K-On!
K-On! is a slice-of-life comedy is based on a rock band formed by a group of high school girls. The girls are all unique characters with their own quirks and personality traits. Watch them practicing for their concerts or going on band trips.
4. Excel Saga
Excel Saga is an over-the-top comedy that follows the antics of Excel, a hyperactive girl who works for an organization called "ACROSS." ACROSS's goal is to take over the world, but Excel often bungles her missions and ends up causing more harm than good.
3. Cromartie High School
Cromartie High School is a hilarious show that follows the misadventures of Takashi Kamiyama, a normal high school student who ends up attending a school for delinquents. Takashi is completely out of his element at Cromartie and often finds himself getting into all sorts of trouble. akashi always manages to find himself in some amusing situations like getting caught up in a gang war or trying to fit in with his new classmates.
2. School Rumble
School Rumble is about Tenma Tsukamoto, a high school girl who has a crush on her classmate Oji Karasuma. However, Tenma is too shy to confess her feelings to him and often finds herself getting into all sorts of trouble while trying to get his attention. Whether it's getting caught up in a love triangle or trying to escape from a gang of thugs, Tenma always manages to find herself in some amusing situations.
