How to make your own cuticle oil

Your cuticles are the protective barrier between your nails and the outside world. They need to be kept healthy and moisturized in order to do their job properly. Cuticle oil is one of the best ways to achieve this. It's easy to make your own cuticle oil at home with just a few simple ingredients. The first step is to choose an oil base. Sweet almond oil and jojoba oil are both good options. You'll need about ½ teaspoon of oil for every 10 drops of essential oil. Next, choose your essential oils. Lavender oil is a good option for its soothing properties. You could also try lemon oil for its refreshing scent or tea tree oil for its antifungal and antibacterial benefits. Add 10 drops of essential oil for every ½ teaspoon of carrier oil. Now, simply combine your oils in a small bottle or jar and give it a good shake. Apply a few drops of oil to your cuticles and massage it in gently. You can do this once or twice a day, as needed. Your cuticles will thank you for the extra attention!
